Custom extrusions offer endless opportunities for the end-user. Because of the experience we have gained from working with our broad customer base in virtually every industry, we are in a unique position to assist you with your design. Brass extrusions can be designed and selected for their fabricating properties or their color properties - or a combination of both. By looking at our Alloys page, you can find the alloy whose properties meet your requirements. Each alloy has its strengths and weaknesses. We produce custom extrusions in brass, bronze and nickel silver. Each shape is priced based on intricacy of design, size, weight per foot and quantity purchased. We will consider any shape that will fit in a 6 inch circle, however, we do not produce hollows (any shape that has a hole in it).

The cycle:

1. You provide us with a fully detailed drawing of the desired part and the alloy you wish it to be produced in.

2. We analyse the design and suggest any changes that may be required to enable us to extrude it or that can reduce your cost.

3. Once a final design is mutually agreed upon, we will quote you a price for tooling and material. Tooling is a one time charge.

4. After the order is entered, it is given a scheduled delivery which is typically 8 weeks to ship.

5. If required, we can provide a sample prior to the production run. This allows you to check or test the part to make certain that it works as intended. There is a nominal charge for a pre-production sample.

6. The material is shipped.

Send us your quote request with a fully detailed drawing. The drawing must be proportional and to some scale. The drawing can be submitted by mail, fax or email. You may also send the drawing in a standard *.dwg or an Autocad file format.
